Ring Shopping

No announcement here, but some day dreaming I wanted to share with my friends
As a single woman I have been ring shopping for years.
My tastes have changed over the years, although I have always wanted a yellow gold ring which is not currently popular. Here is what I originally wanted many years ago

Then there is the antique look that has become popular

The real break through for me when I discovered pave settings for the band. About that time I also began to struggled to pick between a round and princess cut diamond (good thing I have more time to choose).

That ring is pretty isn't it. My sister's ring is a white gold similar to this and it is even more sparkly in person.
This ring has a cushion cut which is growing on me. And Although I can picture things getting into all the detail I love the delicate detail.

Who knows what I will come up with next.

With Compassion

It was yesteday during gospel Docteine tha discovered for myself a wonderful truth.

The lesson was:
"Lesson 7: “[He] Took Our Infirmities, and Bare Our Sicknesses”," New Testament Gospel Doctrine Teacher’s Manual, (2002)

As we read about miracles that Christ preformed we read Mark 1:40-42

And there came a aleper to him, beseeching him,
and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him,
If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

And Jesus, moved with compassion,
put forth his hand, and touched him,
and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.

And as soon as he had spoken,
immediately the leprosy departed from him,
and he was cleansed.

This term "moved with compassion" struck me in he moment and I decided to look up the definition of cmpassion on my phone (yep right there in Sunday School, I am a rebel)

Compassion (from Latin: "co-suffering")

Hold on folks did you see what I see?

Christ was moved to co-suffer with th leper in order to heal him. Christ as our Savior suffers along with us inorde to heal. He is not detached on a throne observing but at an intmate distace so much that He is co-suffers all.

One more note for those who are interested.
PonderMark 5:25-34 and the concept of co-suffering.
What does it mean to hae compassion on your fellowman?

The cold that won't end

So what I didn't mention in my last post is the weekend I got the intership I also got a cold... count back three weeks. I have been sick on and off since then. I was going to travel to Idaho for my nieces baby blessing and another nephews birthday but decided against it with my ongoing fever/sleeping constantly. I have been feeling better all week, but then work up with a fever a couple times last night. Seriously body I am so over this whole thing!

So what is your least favorite thing about a cold?
I vote for cotton mouth

UPDATE - Turns out it is a double sinus infection... and I have medicine.

Intern Extrodinare

I am proud to announce that I have secured a PAID internship... I finish my class work for my master's degree in august and I heard it was a good idea to start looking early.

I will be doing my internship at LDS family Services in Idaho Falls. I am thrilled to be headed back the family land... since everyone but me lives within 15 mile of each other.

I will be working with missionaries, birth and adoptive parents (with adoptions), couples, families and individuals. I know this is a blessing and excited to find that all this hard work is getting me to my goals.
