Stupor of Thought

I tend to be a decisive person. I make decisions and then move forward. I have worked to make good decisions quickly and then to act. This works pretty good for me.

The other day I was reminded that there is a higher power that we are blessed to have involved in our lives and in our decisions. Because there is only one thing that can stop me from pressing forward when I feel that I am ready to move forward. That is the miracle of a stupor of thought. This feeling of confusing that stops me in my tracks and causes me to re-evaluate.

There are so many people who have asked the question “How will I know?” This question is not one with an answer that brings immediate comfort. The answer is that “You will know what you need to know when you need to know it.” Keep moving. Keep living and trust the Lord.

D&C 9: 8-9 “But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right. But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong; therefore, you cannot write that which is sacred save it be given you from me.”
