So for all of you who don't know...I am not romantic. It is true. I don't swoon, or gush or giggle for the most part. I mean it might come out every once in a while, but for the most part it is really hard for me to buy into the world's notion of romance.
I prefer honest discussion full of tack and honest expression of feelings and thoughts. Flowers do little for me, I can buy them for myself. Chocolate is not new to me, and a man figuring out that I want it tells me nothing about any one's feelings for me. Fancy dates are a waste of money if done too often. I don't eat much so I have a hard time enjoying restaurants.
This shocks some people...and some people totally agree. I do watch romantic comedies and read romantic stories. I enjoy the story of love just like most people.
So I think I am weird...do you agree?

i think romance is relative. i am a total "gusher". I ooh and ahh, and swoon over everything!!! I WANT flowers!!! However, for some women other things are romantic, like spending time together, even if it's on the sofa reading the sunday paper. Only you can define what romance means to you! Not Crazy at all!!!!!!!!! BUT if a guy DOES buy you flowers or chocolates, I still hope you "reward" him for it! lol!!!
I think you're weird. But what is normal, and who wants to be that? Too boring.

I think there are a limited amount of fun things that take us away from life's drudgery and that dinner's out, chocolate, and flowers are some of those things. I mean, it's not like most people can jet off to exoctic locations all the time. I say, take what you can get and try to enjoy it! :)
I think you are a little weird. I do however think that most people like romance more than they are able to get it. For example, I wish my husband were more romantic but he's not and that's just the way it is!
