Only one other person knows how I got the nickname Posse...and it will probably stay that way. [I have to protect the guilty] But if you are wondering what a one woman posse does read on.

They never worked out for me, but I wasn't against them.
Met my husband on one! Two kids and a morgage later we're happy as can be! :)
Matt and I met on a Blind Date... I do not think they are a bad idea as long as you don't sign any paper work before hand!
i like to say that there are different "levels" of blind dates.
1) the "cold turkey" blind date. this is when you go on a blind date with someone with whom you've never had *ANY* prior communication with, meaning it was a set-up pre-arranged by someone else. i hate this one the most. it's almost never what you imagine.
2) the "Catalog" blind date. This is where you've seen his picture, read his profile and perhaps even exchanged a few emails. But, you are basing all of your information off the "advertisement". better, but again, usually not what you imagine.
3) the "Finally get to meet you" blind date. This is the one in which you've exchanged emails, and better yet held ACTUAL conversations. Granted, they were over the phone, but you were able to get a glimpse of his quirks, his laughs, his voice, his demeanor.
I like #3 the best. In fact, I will not go out with anyone until they meet the following criteria:
a) I see their picture
b) I get a little background on them
c) I have at least TWO really good phone conversations with them
d)we MEET in a public place.
I mean, seriously... I am a woman, I don't even buy cereal without checking out the side of the package!
hehehe... there you have it - my opinion on blind dates.
