So today it happened. That day that I look forward to every year. It is the start of the summer season. It has nothing to do with the date on the calendar. It is the first sunburn of the year.
Yes my friends, all those long winter nights that people questioned my redhead status…they have left us and now we are at the point where my skin is hotter than the air in the room. They are a shade of pink resembles the really pretty flowers in the neighbor’s yard. So let the summer begin…and get out the sunscreen!
